Secured Application Hosting

In response to requests from our customers, CAS began offering secured application hosting for our program in 2003. Today, over 1,500 school districts utilize our hosting services for the SEAS solution.

CAS partners with a high-availability commercial data center in Dallas, Texas. Because of this, CAS is able to offer a technical platform that a single school district could not normally afford. Some of the features offered to school districts include:

• Redundant Hardware (disk drives, servers, routers, etc.)
• Redundant Power (Multiple city grids, UPS, Continuous-feed Generators)
• Redundant Internet connectivity (Eight different tier-1 Internet providers)
• Full backup and recovery (including off-site storage)
• Disaster recovery plan (two redundant hot-sites)
• 24/7 hardware/software monitoring
• Hardware/software upgrades
