Workstations

The SEAS-family of solutions are all 100% web-based. They require only an Internet browser at the client workstation to run and do not require additional middle-ware, terminal emulation, or web-enabling software.

SEAS runs on Microsoft® Windows®-based personal computers (versions 98 SE, ME, 2000, XP, 2003) and Apple® Macintosh®-based personal computers (OS versions 9.2 to 10.4.7).

SEAS will run on Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0, Service Pack 1or Internet Explorer 7.0, Mozilla (required for OS 9.2), and Apple Safari browsers.

SEAS utilizes the free Adobe® Acrobat Reader® to allow users to interact with forms on the screen exactly as they would work with them on paper.

Servers

SEAS is based on an industry-standard Microsoft server platform including:

• Microsoft Windows 2000 (2003) network operating system
• Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS) web application server
• Microsoft SQL Server database management system

SEAS is an optimized application suite and utilizes many of the advanced features of each component to increase performance.

.NET Application Architecture

SEAS is built on the Microsoft .NET application platform which allows the application to be optimized for execution performance. It also gives the application a service-based architecture that allows for quicker development and deployment of new functionality.
